One of my biggest dreams is to have my own apartment. I currently live with two roommates and while I appreciate the cost savings, the difference in our lifestyles has had its fair share of surprises. To be fair, the girls are great, and we've never had a conflict. The rent gets paid on time, and the bills distributed evenly. However, between the pets, overwhelming guests and varying levels of cleanliness, I'm starting to think that roommates are not an option that I should consider in the future.
It's not enough just to have my own space, I want my own sanctuary: a place to escape, decompress, create and reflect. Here's a wishlist of what my new sanctuary will have:
